Two desks, one road

Bookings, pricing and paperwork happen in Gulberg. Roads, weather and drivers are called from Gilgit. Nobody sells you a trip that the north desk has not agreed is possible that week.

How it started

One hired van, two drivers

We started in 2014 taking families to Naran in a van we did not own. The first two seasons taught us the thing that still runs the company: on the Karakoram Highway the plan is worth less than the person who can change it. So we stopped booking through wholesalers, bought vehicles, put a coordinator in Gilgit, and made the promise we could actually keep — that someone who has driven your route will pick up the phone.

Twelve seasons on, that is still the whole business. We are not the cheapest quote you will get for the north. We are the one that tells you when the answer is no.

What we own

The reason we can change a plan at six in the morning is that almost nothing in the chain belongs to somebody else.

The vehicles

Four jeeps and two coasters, ours outright. A hired van goes where its owner agrees to; ours goes where the road allows and the driver knows.

The hotel contracts

Booked direct, season by season, with the same twenty-odd properties. No wholesaler sits between your money and the room, which is why the price holds.

The guide roster

Fourteen guides on our own books, not a call list. Each one runs a route four times as second before leading it.

The road calls

Our Gilgit desk, not a weather app. Pass closures reach us from drivers on the highway, usually hours before anything official.

Ask us something a brochure can't answer.

Road conditions next week, whether a route suits your parents, what the total actually comes to. The Gilgit desk answers the first, the Lahore desk the rest.
